That moment when the airplane seatbelt fits with extra room to spare.
every time I eat real food, I’ve been feeling sick. Last night I needed to take a zofran, just felt so naseus. I did some searching on google and thinner times and someone recommended the melting strips. Used them twice today right before my meal, feels much better to eat.
i went to my regular doc this week, I’m officially down 65 pounds! That just kicks ass!
I went back to work this week and I’ve been walking during lunch everyday. I was trying to eat a meal after walking but it just wasn’t working – needed water, and simply didn’t feel like eating. I had been having a shake for breakfast and food for lunch. Today I switched it up and ate breakfast and had a shake for lunch. Let me tell you, it’s so much easier to deal with. Personal preference really, but just easier for me.
so I’ve come the realization that my personality and really old eating habits are getting in my way. I simp,y eat too fast, I’m simply misjudging time and pilling in food because I think enough time has gone by. After a bit of Google searching, there is an app call “Eat Slower”, seriously it really exists. It has a built in timer that goes for 1 minute & 30 seconds and it repeats that timer u til you turn it off. It seems stupid but what this app really does is retrain your cosumption timing. I am ever so grateful, even though the app is as ugly as is gets, who cares, I simply can’t handle being sick after eating too quickly anymore.
Wraps, well toasted soft tortilla shells, crunchy crackers, and baked chips don’t bother me at all but any kind of sliced bread bothers me, it tends to sit and make me fee a bit nauseous.
However, im not one to try something just once. My last breakfast experience (eggs) left me feeling awful because I ate to fast. It also left me not wanting eggs for a bit so today I tried French toast. Yeah probably against the rules (maybe) but I took my time and while I can feel it a bit, I didn’t get sick and so fat it seems ok. Sugar free syrup is a godsend.
I’ve always had an ice cream problem for as long as I can remember. As of late (past few years), it’s soft serve on a cone with chocolate sprinkles (we call them jimmies up here).
Tonight we went to the local ice cream shop (appropriately named Sundaes) and while I can’t order regular soft serve, I tried Only8. It’s an all natural frozen yogurt made with fructose. It didn’t bother me at all and a 1/2 cup is only 32 calories (7g of sugar)! Double score!!
Next time though, straight vanilla kinda sucks, I’m going to try the chocolate/vanilla twist.
